We girls work hard in looking the best but sometimes it backfires. Fake tan stains on the clothes are very common in summers and removing them can be tricky! Have you ever accidently sprayed fake tan on your clothes and left with an unsightly stain on your favorite outfit? Don’t worry, you are at the right place. Below is how you could remove fake tan from clothes:
Shaving cream: Put little shaving cream on the stain area and let it stay for 10 minutes. Now, carefully wipe the shaving cream and wash it off with cold water. Be careful and don’t smudge the shave cream with the cloth. And make sure you use shave cream and not gel. More: How to remove makeup stains from clothes >>
Baking soda: In a bowl, create a baking soda paste using baking soda and water. Apply the paste on the stain and let it sit for 2 hours. After 2 hours, scrape off baking soda and toss the cloth in washing machine or wash it as you usually do.
Lemon: Cut a lemon in half and rub it onto the stain. Alternatively, you could also saturate the stain with lemon juice. Let it sit for 1 hour and wash the cloth as usual. Repeat as needed.
Toothpaste: Put little white toothpaste on the stained area and let it stay for 10 minutes. Now, carefully wipe the shaving cream and wash it off with cold water.
Cornstarch: In a bowl, create a cornstarch paste using cornstarch and water. Apply the paste on the stain and let it sit for 2 to 3 hours. After 2 to 3 hours, scrape off the dried cornstarch and toss the cloth in washing machine or wash it as you usually do.
Vodka: Take some vodka and pour it a mug or small vessel. Drench your stained in it and leave it for few minutes. Wash it naturally afterwards.
