Greying hair is something we do not have control of and with age, it is bound to happen. Hair dyeing and coloring are common things we do to hide grey hair and it definitely works! Have you ever thought about the chemicals and toxins you put into your hair while you dye? If you are just started to see greying hair and see a slight color change near the roots, try this homemade remedy that can temporary hide the grey roots before you go for harmful and strong dyes-
USE AS A HAIR RINSE:
Brew some strong coffee and let it cool down. Make sure that the coffee is really saturated or it wont stain your grey hair. After shampooing, use it as a hair rinse and let it sit for for 30 minutes before rinsing it out with cold water. Use a conditioner on top. You can repeat the rinsing step if you feel the greys are still visible or until you achieve your desired brown shade.
USE WITH CONDITIONER:
Brew strong coffee and mix it up with a conditioner of your choice. Apply it all over your hair concentrating on the grey roots and let it sit for 1 hour before rinsing off with cold water. Repeat as needed.
USE AS A HAIR SPRAY:
Brew some strong coffee and let it cool down. Make sure that the coffee is really saturated or it wont stain your grey hair. Pour the coffee in a spray bottle and use it to mist on grey roots. Use a blow drier to dry your wet roots and repeat until you achieve a desired shade. This is great for on-the-go touch ups
NOTE: This remedy/hack is temporary and does not permanently dye your hair. This trick can be used for not-so-prominent grey roots. It also is water soluble and can stain your clothes if your hair gets wet.
