Having long, thick, and lustrous locks is a cherished desire of many. Not everyone has thick and long hair. Pollution, stress, genetics, excessive hair products etc. can lead to hair loss and thinning hair. There are a lot of hair treatments available commercially but nothing works like natural treatments! Ginger is well known for its hair care properties and it also strengthens hair follicles reducing hair fall. Here are some ginger hair masks that you can use:
GINGER CUCUMBER MASK
You need 2 medium sized cucumbers and 2 tablespoons ginger powder. If you don’t have powder, you can use ginger juice or grated ginger. Mix up the ingredients and blend using a blender adding water as needed. Apply the paste on your scalp and leave it on for 20 to 30 minutes and then wash off with mild shampoo.
GINGER FENUGREEK MASK
Soak a cup of fenugreek seeds in water overnight, or at least for four hours. Make a paste out of it and add 3 tablespoons on ginger powder to it. Mix it well and apply on scalp and hair. Let it sit for 2 hours and shampoo it off as usual.
GINGER COCONUT MASK
Add 5 tablespoons mashed ginger or 3 tablespoons ginger powder to 2 cups coconut milk. Also add 1 blended cucumber paste to it. Add 2 tablespoon of coconut oil to it and mix it properly. The mixture can be a bit watery, but apply it with tilted head to avoid spilling it on your clothes. Massage a bit and let it sit for 3 hours. Shampoo off and condition as usual.
GINGER EGG MASK
Whisk two egg yolks and mix in two tablespoons of olive oil and 3 tablespoons of ginger powder. Apply the mixture on your scalp and leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse it out with cold water and then shampoo your hair as usual.
