Cleaning furniture is certainly not an easy task! Thinking how to get stains out of your furniture? Read on to know how:
- If you have a natural fabric couch, this trick should work for you. Sprinkle the entire couch with a good heap of baking soda. Baking soda helps release lurking smells and break up stains in the fabric. Dip the washcloth in the cleaning solution (vinegar+few drops dishwashing liquid+baking soda), and gently dab and rub stains or simply use for wiping down the entire couch. You’ll be amazed with the results! Allow the couch to dry, and touch up as needed. It may appear darker in colour until it’s completely dry.
- You can get those white marks caused by hot cups or sweating glasses off your coffee table or other wooden furniture by making a paste of 1 tablespoon baking soda and 1 teaspoon water. Gently rub the spot in a circular motion until it disappears.
- When regular furniture polish doesn’t work on your dining table, try using a dab of car wax. Use your finger to apply the wax. Let it dry and buff with a soft cloth.
- To get rid of those watermark rings on your wooden furniture left by sweating beverages, gently rub some non-gel toothpaste on the wood with a soft cloth. Then wipe it off with a damp cloth and let it dry before applying furniture polish.
