Why use toxic sprays when you can get rid of ants naturally? Below is a recipe for vinegar ant spray you might want to try-
RECIPE FOR VINEGAR ANT SPRAY:
Things you need-
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 15 drops peppermint oil
In a jar, add water and white vinegar. Add in 15 drops peppermint oil and stir. Transfer to a spray bottle and shake well before every use. Spray this directly on ants and ant trails, in the corners of your house, near windows etc.
HOW IT WORKS:
Vinegar breaks the trail that ants follow and they go away. Vinegar and peppermint smell deters the ants and also causes burning sensation that inhibits them in no time. Ants cannot stand the smell of all the ingredients used. The spray also causes ant’s bodies to dry out. To make the spray even more effective, you can add in 1/3 cup lemon juice.
