Getting paint out of your clothes can get tough sometimes especially if the paint has dried off already. It is best to try getting off the paint from clothes before it dries up! Here are some of the ways that can help you with getting the paint out of your clothes:
Soak a cotton ball in rubbing alcohol and rub the stained spot until it starts to vanish. Afterwards, use a scraping tool, such as a wooden stick or a bristle brush, to scrape off the access. Lastly, toss the fabric in the washing machine and dry it off as usual.
Dishwashing soaps too can be used to effectively remove paint. Simply mix dishwasher soap in lukewarm water and scrub the area with a sponge, and then rinse off once the stain is gone. In place of dishwashing soaps, hairsprays can also be used.
If the mild dish detergent solution above doesn’t do the trick, apply a few drops of rubbing alcohol to a damp cloth and try removing the paint residue that way.
Wipe off any and all paint that that you still can from the fabric. Pad the back of the fabric with a thick bit of paper towels or a cotton rag. Place paint thinner or turpentine directly on the affected area. Finally, scrub the area with detergent.
