Since years people believe that drinking a cup of coffee certainly uplifts one’s mood. However, a recent trend suggests that using beauty products containing coffee has also proven to be beneficial for skin and hair.
Coffee ground make an excellent exfoliant due to its non-dissolving property. This also help reduce cellulite and stretch marks, tones the skin, protects it from sun damage, leaving your skin soft and smooth.
Keeping the above in mind, I decided to make a homemade DIY coffee scrub. This works…try it out!
What You’ll Need:
- 1 cup Organic coconut oil
- 1 cup freshly ground coffee beans (you can the leftover coffee grounds)
- Ice cube tray
Microwave your coconut oil briefly to melt the oil. Mix the coffee grounds and coconut oil, stir well Slowly spoon the mixture into ice cube tray.Place them in the freezer until the scrub cubes are hardened. Pop your cubes out and use it when required.
Note: You can use the coffee scrubs for several months. Store the scrub cubes in a freezer.
