COCONUT OIL FOR ACNE

Acne has been an infamous and widespread problem for many years, and although it is most common among teenagers, it can affect adults of all ages. There is arguably no better-praised, all-natural (and edible) beauty product than coconut oil. Coconut oil can effectively be used to reduce/treat/prevent acne to some extent and here are some smart ways to use it

Coconut oil treatment for acne

FACE MASK

Things you need: You need 5 tablespoons of fresh aloe juice (sap), 2 teaspoons of honey and 2 tablespoons of coconut oil.

Method: Mix honey, coconut oil and aloe juice together and apply the mask for 20 minutes on your face. Use a tissue to wipe your face if the mask is too liquid. Remove the mask by rinsing it off with warm water. Make such a mask twice a week. Such coconut oil mask will not only soothe your skin, nourish and accelerate its regeneration, but also will clear your face and help pimples to point more quickly

TOPICAL TREATMENT

Things you need: You need 1 teaspoon coconut oil and 5 drops tea tree oil.

Method: Combine coconut oil and tea tree oil and apply it as a spot treatment on acne. Do this every night before bedtime. Repeat until acne dries off.

COCONUT OIL MASSAGE

Things you need: All you need is virgin or extra virgin organic pure coconut oil.

Method: Steam your face or simply dip a towel in hot water, squeeze it, and place it over your face to open up your skin pores. Drop a teaspoon of coconut oil onto your left palm and use your right hand to apply the beautiful goo onto your face in a circular motion. Start with cheeks, then forehead, and finally the chin. Avoid the eye and mouth area. Gently massage the oil into your skin with circular motions so that the nutrients sink deep into your pores. Finally, you can wash your face, preferably with a natural cold-processed soap.
