Using home remedies and essential oils for acne can save you money, keep you healthy and help clear up your skin. Plus, they make you smell wonderful! Annoying acne can appear at any age and for many different reasons. When it comes to treating acne, Essential Oils offer a highly effective alternative to the use of tough chemicals contained in many acne creams and prescription medications. Whether used in full strength or diluted, topical application of Essential Oils can alleviate mild to moderate acne.
Here are some essential oil blends you could use as a spot treatment to clear up acne; but before, let us see the right way to do a spot treatment:
THE RIGHT WAY TO DO A SPOT TREATMENT:
- Always wash hands thoroughly before touching your face. You may also use Q-tips but they tend to soak excess oil.
- Wash your face and avoid applying anything on it. You may wash your face with warm water to open up the pores.
- With light fingers, jus dab the oil on acne without much pressure.
- Sleep facing upwards.
- Follow this routine until acne clears up.
