Generic or not, some of the biggest rip-offs in the realm of consumer electronics have got to be cleaning solutions. They mostly contain only alcohol and water and are expensive! Below is how you could clean your computer using a simple and safe ingredient- vinegar!
- Easily available
- Easy to use
- Has natural antimicrobial properties
- Is a great cleansing agent
- Kills dust mites and tiny insects
WAYS TO USE VINEGAR TO CLEAN COMPUTER:
Vinegar spray- To make this easy cleaning spray, you need ½ cup of white vinegar (do not use any other type of vinegar like rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar) and ½ cup of filtered water. Mix both the ingredients well and pour in a spray bottle. Shake well before use. Do not spray the solution directly over devices or you might damage the circuits. Take a cloth and spray the solution on it. Make sure you spray it just once and not fully saturate the cloth. Use it to wipe your devices. For corners and hard-to-reach places, use Q-tips.
Vinegar wipes- You can make vinegar wipes at home that are pre-saturated with vinegar solution and ready to be used. In a bowl, add ½ cup of white vinegar (do not use any other type of vinegar like rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar) and ½ cup of filtered water. Mix both the ingredients well. Take cotton pads or wipes and dunk them into the solution. Squeeze out all the liquid as much as you can and stack them properly in a jar. Put the lid tightly to avoid wipes getting dried. To use, simply take one out and use directly as a wiping cloth.
