REMOVE WATER STAINS FROM WOOD

Wooden furniture or any household item made up of wood gives a unique luxury feel since wooden items are being used since Egyptian times. The downside is that, you need to maintain them since they are prone to wear and tear and can look dull and scratched over a period of time. Water des not stain any other material but it certainly stains wooden items especially your wooden tables and desks. Here are some remedies to remove wooden stains from wood:

REMOVE WATER STAINS FROM WOODCOCONUT OIL

Coconut oil can help remove water stains from wood; did I mention this is effective even for stains on textured wood? All you need is some coconut oil and a rough cotton cloth. Apply some coconut oil on the water stain and let it sit for 5 minutes. Buff the area using rough cotton cloth and you are done! Wipe the area with dry and clean cloth.

LEMON AND VINEGAR

Using funnel, pour ¼ cup vinegar and ¼ tsp lemon oil into tiny bottle along with ½ cup water. Shake well to emulsify. Squirt polish onto microfiber cloth and rub onto finished-wood furniture. Always go with the grain and evenly distribute. Remove any excess with a clean cloth.

BLACK COFFEE

Dark black coffee can be used to lighten old water marks on wooden furniture or any wooden item. Simply apply some black coffee over the stain for 2-3 minutes and wipe it away. Repeat as required.

SAND PAPER

Over the time, frequent wetting of wooden surface can cause swelling and uneven textures on the wood along with water marks. If your wooden item is light, a sand paper can do the trick.
