Although, room fresheners always give me nausea and I am sure this is a common phenomenon for many of you! Making your own room spray is a great way to choose exactly the scents that you enjoy and it also avoids having to use the commercial sprays that contain chemicals that may irritate sensitive noses. Here us an easy DIY for making your own fresh mint room spray:

  • Easy to make
  • Free of chemicals
  • All natural
  • Does not make you feel nauseated
  • Safe for children
  • Artificial fragrance-free

Things you’ll need-

  • 2 tablespoons vodka
  • 2 cups filtered water
  • 3 tablespoons of essential oils (since you are making mint room freshener, here you should use peppermint. Jasmine, citrus, lavender, etc can be used as well)

Mix water and vodka in a pump spray bottle or atomizer, add the essential oils, and shake thoroughly. You’ll want to shake this each time before you spray it to ensure it’s all nice and mixed up.

Note: You may also add little lavender essential oil if you feel the smell of mint is too strong.
