I ‘LOVE’ peanut butter! Nothing tastes as delicious as splattered peanut butter on a warm toast- crunchy and gooey at the same time! Making your own nut butter at home could not be more simple, or delicious. All you need is some nuts, a blender, and possibly a light-flavored oil. If you allergic to peanuts then you can use almond or cashew instead of peanuts.

DELICIOUS AND EASY HOMEMADE ALMOND, CASHEW OR PEANUT BUTTER RECIPE Things you need:

  • 2-3 cups of nuts (almond, cashew or peanuts)
  • Blender
  • 1 teaspoon Olive oil (optional)

Method:

Put the nuts in a food processor or blender. Run the food processor or blender continuously for few minutes, then stop and scrape down the sides. Continue blending till the nuts turn smooth and creamy. Add the oil and process again till very well blended; it will be quite soft at this point. Scoop out the mixture and store in a glass jar or container ….then enjoy!

Note: If you want the butter to be more creamy then add in more oil. To make the butter sweeter add in some honey. You can roast the nuts before blending to get a deeper flavor and make it easier to blend into a smooth butter. The butter can be used immediately and will keep for several weeks in the fridge.
