Mild swelling, dark circles, saggy or loose skin are some of the symptoms puffy eyes. Excessive crying too causes temporary puffy eyes which can make you look high! Milk is one natural ingredient that can effectively de-puff your eyes and brighten them as well. Here are several ways to use milk for de-puffing your eyes:
COLD PLAIN MILK
Dip the cotton ball in chilled milk and place over your eyes. Leave on 20-30 minutes, then rinse with water. Repeat daily. Milk cools and soothes skin and discourages water retention.
MILK ICE CUBES
Milk ice cubes can not only de-puff your eyes but also brighten them instantly. Pour milk in ice trays and freeze them. Place the milk ice cubes in a cotton cloth and place under the eyes with intervals using gentle pressure.
Caffeine acts as anti-inflammatory and helps de-puff eyes. Add little coffee powder to cold milk and apply it around and under the eyes. Wash off after 5 minutes.
Slice refrigerated strawberries. Dip them in cold milk, lie down and place the slices on your eyes. Leave on 5-10 minutes. Repeat daily. This trick reduces swelling and gives skin a youthful radiance.
MILK CREAM+ORANGE PEEL POWDER
This eye mask effectively reduces puffiness and brightens the area around eyes. With regular usage it can also reduce dark circles. Mix ½ teaspoon orange peel powder with 1-2 tablespoons cold milk cream. Mix thoroughly and apply around the eyes. Let it sit for 10 minutes and wash it off with cold water.
