Flip flops get sweaty and dirty more often as they are quite open unlike shoes and they are used mainly in the summers especially on the beaches! Yuck! If you don’t clean your sandals, why not get started now? Luckily there are many quick and easy ways to freshen them up.
The easiest and fastest way to clean rubber flip-flops is to put them in the washing machine. Use a delicate cycle, with a minimum temperature of the water. Laundry detergent and fabric softener perfectly cope with the smell. Dry them outdoors!
For plain rubber flip flops, run them under warm water in the tub. Next sprinkle with baking soda. Leave for at least five minutes and scrub off with an old toothbrush. You may repeat it for stubborn spots and dirt. Alternatively, you may also soak the flip flops in water containing baking soda and detergent for half an hour before scrubbing it!
Grab a paper towel or a rag and dampen it with a bit of vinegar. Wipe the foot bed to remove all the dust and grime. Finally wipe with wet towel and dry it outdoors.
