Baking soda is an all-rounder ingredient that can be used for a number for beauty treatments- hair and skin problems. Today we will be talking about baking soda uses for dark spots, which is of the common skin problems. Here are some ways to use baking soda for dark spots:

BAKING SODA FOR DARK SPOTSBAKING SODA+ WATER

You need to make a paste of ½ teaspoon of baking soda and ½ teaspoon of distilled water. Wash your face to remove any makeup or dirt and apply the mixture to affected areas gently rubbing to exfoliate. Leave it for 5 minutes and rinse off. You need to do this once daily until you see good results.

BAKING SODA+ LEMON

Put some fresh lemon juice in baking soda and make a paste. It will fizz initially but that is ok. Rub it directly on the affected skin area and allow it to dry. Wash it off with plain water. Continue applying this dark spot removal home remedy for at least two weeks to get the desired result.

BAKING SODA+ POTATO

Peel and grate a potato and keep it aside. Add 1 tablespoon baking soda to 3 tablespoons of water. Put potato slices in the baking soda solution and then place it on the dark spots for 20 minutes. Remove and wash face using lukewarm water.

SANDALWOOD+ BAKING SODA

Make a thick paste of 1 tablespoon of sandalwood powder, 1 tablespoon of glycerine, 1 tablespoon of baking soda and 3 tablespoons of rose water. Apply the thick paste to the affected skin area and leave it on for a few minutes. Wash off the paste with lukewarm water.

TURMERIC+ BAKING SODA

Make a thick paste of 2 teaspoons of turmeric, 1 tablespoon of baking soda and a little water enough to make a granulated paste. Apply it to the skin where there are black spots. Leave it on for a few minutes and then wash it off with scrubbing sction with lukewarm water.
